We offer Rapid Tooling for short run or low volume quantity production for your custom made plastic parts by aluminum or P20 insert or moulds.
what is possible with Rapid tooling?;
We can make quick moulds within 4 weeks, normally the lead-time for steel moulds, hardened or unhardened are 6 to 8 weeks respectively.
With an aluminum mould or p20 low volume or series of 1000-100.000 parts can be made.
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF rapid tooling?
The mains advantages is a quicker lead time compared to conventional hardened steel tooling, which means you can introduce your product earlier or test it in a market quicker than scheduled.
Besides a quicker lead time , tooling cost are usually lower than mass production injection tools
Not an advantage but neither a disadvantage is that the plastic parts are exact the same as the mass production plastic injected parts.
